Mr Pavia-Lee Rocking Horses

This is Nelson. He’s hand carved from poplar, covered with gesso, painted, then dappled by airbrush. He’s then finished with coats of varnish. Nelson has a real horse hair mane and tail. The leather saddle, saddle cloth and bridle, all reflect the high build quality of our horses. He is mounted on a strong and sturdy ash stand. As with our other large horses, he is hollow inside, so as to contain a time capsule of the family who commission him. He’s suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old. A nameplate for the lucky recipient can be attached to his stand. As well as being CE marked, (to conform to EN71 standard for children’s toys), all of our products are built to last, with the aim to be handed down through generations.

The Abel Rocking Horse Chair is our own design. As with all of our products, it is CE marked to conform to EN71 standard for childrens safety. The range is suitable for ages from 1 to 12 yrs. The chair can be adapted to hold children with disabilities. In order to aid access, the head can be removed, and replaced when the rider is comfortable. Each chair comes with a wedge to hold it steady whilst “mounting”. The leather reigns are available in different colours, depending on the model.

This is Hector. He’s made by laminating birch ply, then hand carved to bring out his striking lines and curves. He’s then finished with coats of varnish.Hector has a real horse hair mane and tail. He’s suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old. Hector has a bigger brother who’s suitable for riders from 3 to adult. A nameplate for the lucky recipient can be attached to his stand. As with our other large horses, he is hollow inside, so as to contain a time capsule of the family commissioning him.
