North West Candle Supplies answer to the current soy wax shortage!!! Introducing our N.W.C.S. Luxe Wonder Wax The only wax melts wax you will need. Our wax is a luxurious Rapeseed & Coconut blend supplied in slab & slab shard forms. At NWCS we have been testing this wax since before Christmas when we knew our current soy wax was in short supply. Thankfully our years of industry experience in our Candle Company made it possible for us to put this wax through its paces & get the best new market product for our customers. Our coconut and rapeseed blend is extremely easy to work with. Its bright white in colour It has superior mould release & upon release retains its shape and a glossy finish Vegan Friendly Halal Certified Kosher Certified Paraben Free No GM crops used in production No Palm Oil No Soy No additives Manufactured in the EU Both are renewable & sustainable ingredients Made with European grown Rapeseed & coconut oil from Ethically sourced Asian small farming lots Fragrance loading can range from 5% up to max of 15% Fragrance load (you need to test each of your fragrances for compatibility) It is REALLY important you trial your wax melt fragrances before commencing production You need to try your fragrance at the lowest % and work up to see reactivity in your wax/fragrance combination. Every addition in your wax melt recipe be it mica, glitter, dye etc is now a new variable of your formula Please note if you are new to wax melt making subscribe to the website mailing list as will will be adding a trouble shooting guide to industry processes in making melts Wax Is supplies in full slab form for Full box & 12.5 Kilos pieces & slab pieces for other kg sizes Note: This wax is NOT suitable for pillar or container waxes Wax is in a solid block. It is poured by the manufacturer into blue plastic bags. At times when you near the end of the wax you may need to wiggle the wax loose from the blue bag. It will not affect the quality or manufacturability of the wax Instructions: Melting and working temp of this wax is 65ºC If using dyes melt at 75ºC to ensure wax dyes melts into the wax completely stir to combine Its advisable to make sure you moderately stir the wax during heating to prevent any heat spikes from your heating source/scorching or over heating in patches Temperatures that at, sustained at or above at 90º to 100º when working with the wax are not recommended When adding fragrances to the wax 60ºC- 65ºC is recommended Wax loading of 8% is ideal. Higher wax loading of up to 14% The onus is on the user to test all products thoroughly prior to manufacture It is important to test each of your fragrances with this wax for compatibility. Additionally to check the finished product in different temperature ranges eg. 5ºC up to 25ºC to test for fragrance leeching from wax The higher the fragrance load the more likely it is wax and fragrance will separate (leech) final working formula for each customer is subject to testing Best pouring temperature is between 65ºC to 45ºC The higher pouring temp is more suited to a cold pouring environment and the lower temp better suited to warmer environment Finished wax product should be left to cool and cure for a minimum of 24 hours again test to gauge your best formula performance!!!
