Pneumococcal Vaccination

This vaccine protects against serious and potentially fatal pneumococcal infections. which are caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae and can lead to pneumonia, septicaemia (a kind of blood poisoning) and meningitis. At their worst, they can cause permanent brain damage, or even kill.

Minor Ailments Service

From sore throats to hay fever, ear ache to urine infection, we can now offer prescription only treatments without the need to see your GP. Our pharmacists can see you quickly and offer you the right treatment to get you back to full health. We will need to undertake a short consultation just to make sure the available treatments are suitable for you and in some cases we may need to undertake a quick test to confirm whether treatment is indicated or not.

NHS Health Check

The NHS Health Check is a free check-up of your overall health. It can tell you whether you're at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, stroke. If you're aged 40-74 and you haven't had a stroke and you don't already have heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease, you should have a health check every five years.
