About The Homesick Herdwick
The Homesick Herdwick – what can I say, I love Herdwicks and I love the fells of the Lake District and Cumbria. Born and bred in Cumbria I am lucky enough to have this beautiful countryside on my doorstep. I feel relaxed as I drive into the Lake District. My shoulders drop, I breathe more easily and I feel at one in my surroundings (cheesy but true). It ‘s such a great stress relief.
My journey started towards the end of 2019 when I wanted to create something of my own, to share with others gifts to remind them of the area. My gifts will hopefully remind you of your visits to this Cumbrian countryside, the iconic Herdwick Sheep and the fells of the Lake District in which they roam.
