About Ceramic Arts

Based in Lincolnshire I work from both home and a local studio and especially enjoy hand building stoneware to produce truly original pieces.

The majority of my sculptures are hand built using craft crank which is fired to almost 1300oC. This makes it suitable for display inside and outside. Hand building involves both coiling and pinch pot techniques. Texture is added with tools and stamps some of which I make myself to create original effects, such as dragon skin.
