If your business typically operates independently on a high street or sells products and vouchers to consumers directly or online and isn’t a service business, you can open a shop on My Local Market
Why hasn’t my shop gone live on My Local Market?
It can take up to 4 working days for a shop to go through our moderation process. You will receive an email to confirm your shop has passed moderation and is now live, or let you know if there has been a problem
Is there a charge to appear on My Local Market?
There is no charge. This is a platform to help support local business
Why hasn’t my business passed moderation?
Your shop may not have been published for one of the following reasons…
Service Business
My Local Market has been created to support those businesses that typically operate independently on a high street or sells products or vouchers to consumers directly or online and isn’t a service business
Missing Information
Your business may be held up in moderation if there is missing information, images or has broken links. We would typically get in contact with you if this is the case, but if you haven’t heard from us and your business hasn’t gone live please email hello@itsmylocalmarket.co.uk for further assistance
Businesses in particular sectors
We may not accept your business if it operates in a particular sector, for example products that are age restricted including vape products
Am I able to update my shop once it’s gone live?
You will be able to log into your shop online and make changes to the content. One this has been done it will go into moderation before going live again
