About Down the Lane

We make home decor from recycled garden wood, either with a natural finish or decorated using decoupage, lace stencilling and distressed paint techniques. Items such as clocks, wall art, air plant holders, key and jewellery hangers, photo holders, candle holders……….whatever the piece of wood inspires. Bringing the outside in, back to nature with a raw and weathered look that is increasingly in vogue and a belief in sustainable living – this is our style. Mother Nature doesn’t throw stuff away ( said William Booth). Rethink, repurpose, recycle and that’s what we do. All our items are unique and very affordable.
