2020 - I first photographed the infamous tree in the summer, then suddenly decided that I would capture it in Autumn & Winter as well. So I returned to Sycamore Gap at the end of October & just caught the tree with some leaves still on. I plan to go back in December to catch it in its winter state. The images will form a set of 3 prints showing the tree throughout the seasons. It nestles beautifully in the dip of Hadrian's Wall. I have created the landscape with multiple layers of texture, colour & a pallet of rich, deep hues to bring the image to life. ​The print is available in 3 different colourways. ​Colours Blue - Blues, Green & Purple Rust - Earthy tones of Red, Orange, Rust & Browns Green - Greens, Yellows & Brown Print small 16 x 42 cm large 21 x 52 cm Framed print in Black wood effect frame - Small 31 x 56.5cm Large 30 x 60cm Delivery Prints sent in sturdy cardboard tube. Beautiful 3D plaster cast wall plaque made using a real Allium seed head. I had to ask a fellow gardener, Matt, if he had any Allium seed heads as I didn't have the larger ones, luckily he did. I will definitely be growing my own for next year & already have the bulbs, just got to keep the slugs & snails off them. This would be a great gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, gardening & nature. The plaque is signed on the back & has 2 keyhole brackets for hanging it securely on a wall.
