About Lorima

Lorima is about colour, quality and versatility. This is seen in our range of quick drying towels and handwoven baskets from Northern Ghana. We source our products from small family run businesses and communities, which is important to us that we know the source. In fact our hair towels and baskets are handwoven by skilled artisans that still practice the traditional methods of weaving their ancestors would have used.

Our towels are lightweight, compact and quick drying. Perfect for those that love to travel or for the space conscious. This year they really have come into their own, with so many people opting to travel via mobile homes, camping, canoeing or sailing. These towels are perfect for these methods of travel as they dry 3 times quicker than normal towels and are made from soft breathable natural cotton.

Our handwoven baskets are sourced from Northern Ghana. It is always exciting when they arrive as the designs, colours and patterns are determined by the weavers and what they have been working on. This makes each basket unique in design and very special.

Ghanian Oval Picnic Basket - Unique Design

This beautiful Oval Picnic basket has been handwoven by the talented female artisans in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana. Extremely strong and durable, these baskets are woven from the sustainable Veta Vera that grows in abundance around the local villages. Finally the decorative leather handles are attached to the baskets. The unique design is available in navy blue, natural and finished off with a pink edge. Size approximately: 45cm Long, 26cm Wide, 29cm High (excluding handles)
