S L J Roberts Photography is a small, family business run from home, specialising in photograph restoration, photograph colourisation & slide/negative conversion. Most of us have special memories in the form of photographs. Sadly photographs, like most things, can deteriorate with time. If this is the case for you, don’t lose those special memories. In most cases I can restore them for you, back to the condition of the day they were taken. Also if you have a photograph you love, but feel it could do with a bit of a tidy up then I can do this as well.

Photograph Restoration

This image dates to 1892 and arrived very faded and torn. It was a real pleasure to be able to hand a restored copy back to the customer. Photograph restoration per image with one print of the restored photograph and postage back to you first class signature required is £22.50.

Photograph Colourisation.

This very old image was sent to me for restoration & once completed I was asked if I could convert it to colour. Colourising images has become quite popular and I love to do it when requested. As I restore the image first I charge £32.50 per image. This includes restoration, colourising, one print of the photograph and postage to you first class signature required. Slide/Negative Conversion.

This image dates to the early 1960's, it was converted from a medium format negative of HMS Protector, the Royal Navy's Antarctic patrol vessel at that time. Slide conversion is charged at 15 pence per slide/strip of negatives. A set price can be given for bulk amounts. Any restoration and printing required please see my restoration stall for pricing.
